WE m4 Cqbr total noob help!

Even with the most basic of things I seem to screw up somehow. I recently bought a one point sling attachment and a pretty new tan stock. For one I'm pretty sure i put the spring in last which had it almost in a 90 degree state after shooting it ( pro moves I know ). But there is also a little black pin like piece and a very small spring that I was pretty sure went into the little hole behind the rear sling attachment ( where I put my new one point sling ) But now either way I can put them in, it just doesnt seem right. If i put the black rod in first then the spring it block the pins that hold my gun together and if i reverse them i just bend the mini spring. Please help. I dont even know why I bother sometimes.

The take down pin (holds upper & lower together) needs to be in place in the lower receiver before you insert the small pin & spring ,the small detent pin goes in the small hole first, then the spring. The spring will stick out of that hole a little, but will compress when your sling adapter/end plate are on.

Made perfect sense. Thanks a lot! I was actually worried something popped out of the trigger box or something but then i noticed the hole in the back. Is there any good youtubers or websites for complete dis-assembly and re-assembly for GBB WE m4's ?

For stuff like that you can youtube real steel disassembly vids its the same for both real and GBBR's, the only thing different about the two are the trigger box and the guts of the upper receiver. Most of the WE M4 specifics are covered on here in depth alone with some vids and pic tutorials, you just have to search for them. I know Turok and a few others have done real good tutorials regarding the WE M4 GBBR.
