Star G36 mags jamming (Magazine issue)

Just picked up a bunch of Star mags from a sale, and I'm finding there is BB jamming in the mag. They seem to be getting stuck side my side in the mag and of course, it stops the feeding.

Is there anyway to get around this other than unjamming it every time? Or Am I doomed with these mags?

I've tried 0.2 g bastards and I'm still having this double stack problem with the bbs. I'm thinking if there's a way to strengthen the spring in the mag. I tried some Eco 0.25 bastards and I was having the problem less. But I wanna finish off all the 0.2s I have before I move up to 0.25 exclusively.

This problem wouldn't be a big thing if I didn't have the mag jam today at Ultimate Airsoft when I flanked 4-5 guys and couldn't get more than 2 rounds out before they noticed me

Don't.

It will screw your hop-up rubber, and only work for a few days.

And then the problem will be worst because dirt and grit will stick to the oil and scratch the insides.

STAR stopped making mags a while ago.
If theses are the plastic 1-piece (molded) mags, they used to last about 2 years.
They where considered by most as cheap, disposable mags back then.

I know, I had some, and they started to jam after a bit over a year.

Best just buy a few new mags...
