Cerakote Applicators in Canada?
So I'm looking for Cerakote applicators, I plan on having a VFC lower CNC engraved and then Cerakoted. I found a website for a guy in Edson, AB that does it. Has anyone ever dealt with him? Is he legit?

I heard Arma Coat is pretty good was going to do it on my VFC MP5 but decided to do a case-hardened look in it instead.

Nice find on Arma Coat... might attempt that the next time I want to paint my rifle.
EDIT: Just reading the FAQ though you need to sandblast smooth surfaces to make this stuff work... kinda not so practical for the DIY project. :/ Last edited by Red Dot; October 9th, 2014 at 04:36.. |

The thing about Cerakote, it's incredibly resilient, however if it did happen to chip, you are unable to reapply it without first chemically removing the entire process.
Something like Duracoat can just be touched up |
