WE G39C and RA-tech trigger-group problems!
So, I just finished installing a new trigger group parts set in my WE G39C, and I'm thinking that the RA-tech stuff is waaaaay out of spec. When I cock the bolt back, I notice it gets "stuck" about halfway and is difficult to charge all the way, and when it does, it nearly seizes the whole bolt carrier grouping up completely. I'm thinking the RA-tech hammer is just way too big to allow the bolt to function correctly?
Wondering if anyone here has had a similar issue. This shit is driving me insane! |

If you still have the original trigger set, the easiest way to fix it is, take both of them apart, (don't mix them up) compare each single parts see which one (one's) off spec, modify (mostly file it) it (or them), you should be fine. Mostly are the hammer and sear based on my M4 experience. RA parts, some of them out of spec, you are an unlucky one like me, and TSC parts are almost all of them out of spec. LOL.

Thanks, that sounds like an easy fix! Ill be filing it down tomorrow to see if that sorts it out.
Ill let you know how it goes, appreciate the advice! |

your steel trigger group is going to be wearing down everything around it.
I learned first hand that Ra Tech SUCKS. Leave your WE gun stock, only replace the inner barrel and hopup. If anything breaks just replace it with OEM parts.

Yeah, unfortunately had to replace some parts of the trigger group after they broke. It's looking like the RA-tech stuff was just made using complete guesswork and none of the parts are actually the correct fit. It's too bad, I've been looking forward to getting my G39 up and running again.
I had already fitted an extended barrel and G39K conversion kit (mine is a G39C), so at least I have that going for me. As you mentioned the originally manufactured parts, do you have any reliable sources I could order them from (preferably within Canada)? Thanks for the heads up, I'm surprised since my RA-tech KJW KC-02 functions beautifully. Must have been very lucky with that particular set. Cheers |

Nevermind finding the sources, I was obviously being super lazy and not using google-fu.
Thanks again for the suggestions, I'll let you know how it all works out in the end. |
