AK Hop Up Unit Replacement Options
i have a CYMA AKS-74U that i want to replace the hop unit on.
Im looking at 3 options 1. Modify AK hop up 2. Lonex 3. Pro-Win** ** this is a more expensive unit and i believe requires some of the stock parts. Have any of you had experience replacing the stock metal hop unit of a CYMA AK and if so what is the best DROP IN unit? My issue is the hop arm keeps slipping and the gun looses it's hop settings during gameplay. Any recomendations for modding this arm so that it stays put in game? |

You do not need to replace the unit. Add O-Rings underneath the screws.

If you do decide to replace the hop up, I've installed the Lonex into my G&G RK-104. Works great, and it was easy peezy. I even gained a couple of horsepower.
