eliminating ambidextrous selector on VFC

Got me a VFC with ambidextrous features. The selector is driving me nuts and I want it gone. Is there a kit out there that has a dummy plate for the side I want gone or .......?

Can it not be replaced by a regular fire selector? Message a gundoc (pestobanana or EOD Steve come to mind), they'll probably have spares from all their builds.

Yeah, most guns I've seen have shitty ambi-systems for some reason. You'd think by now a full through pin would've been invented instead of the over-complex ones they have that are just asking to fail.

The VFC I have with the ambi selector can be unscrewed off.

Is yours like that at all?

Yes, but I don't want to leave the open gap. Looking to see if there is something out there that can be purchased to fill the gap.
If not I am going to just file the selector down on the right side so its flush.

Why?

Pop out mechbox. Remove ambi stuffs (right switch & any associated gearing). Put disc in hole. Reinstall mechbox.

Reverse to reinstall ambi for resale

Yeah I think that $3.50 disc is the ticket. Give it some red Locktite so it stays in.
