50 cal. and Panzerschrek

Hey since I am going ww2 and there is no ways of turning me back I extremely would love to make a 50 cal. and Panzerschrek and I am completely dedicated to doing so. I have a bit thought out for the 50. In body work but I don’t know what to do for the ammo box to feed the ammo and for the trigger system since it is a thumb trigger. And for the Panzerschrek I kind of know but not really, what I was thinking was to take a ACTY Handgun Grenade launcher and fitting it into PVC pipe then just adding all of the details with metal, I mean it wouldn’t load the same way as the Panzerschrek but it would look and have the same trigger system.

If anyone could help me that would be great and you can laugh at my idea all you want just after tell me what the problem is and I will fix it hope fully it all can be done.

Sorry if this is in the wrong section or if someone posted it already (trying to make these weapons) but I couldn’t find anything on it. Thanks

I see you're from Edmonton... there's a few guys here in Edmonton that have done some really stellar custom gun productions and John (Blastyman) is one of them. I'd suggest you introduce yourself on our local forums ( www.edmontonairsoft.net/forums/ ) and contact John (Blastyman) or Don (DonP) and talk to them. They'll have good input for you.

The Panzerschrek depends on what you want it to do. Would you prefer it to shoot shower grenades, or solid projectiles like mini Nerf rockets?

If the latter, you can buy relatively inexpensive pre-made rocket launchers that take mini Nerf ammo at http://www.rustyspaintballgear.com under the Paintball section. They have constant air and CO2 cartridge models, the cheapest being a mere $145 USD I believe. You may be able to cannibalize such a device and build it into an authentic looking and fully functional Panzerschrek, or at least draw inspiration from it.

They also have pre-made, functional, Panzerfausts FYI.

Personally I'd like to see an M2HB that's external gas powered in 8mm. You simply can't let a Ma Deuce shoot ammo that's less than half its real bore diameter!

It's not, although it's not a firearm and would be pretty difficult to pass off as a real weapon. I doubt you'd have any more trouble getting it over the border than a paintball gun. Can't be considered a replica either because the law only affects replica firearms.

Ahoy,
I sent you the link to detailed pics on the .50 cal on MSN. See if you can recruit anyone in the area to help... it's not for the unskilled.
Cheers,
Nate

Yeah, I've thought that countless times... EVERYWHERE. Just see my old thread, 'you know you're an Airsofter when...'

Anyways, once again, check that link I sent you. Back at the Customs/Mods, there's countless homemade rocket launchers... you should be able to make one without too much difficulty, with some help.
