The M150 version would turn an airsoft gun into something illegal here, so the answer is probably no.

We do have an order going in for system complete mechboxes I believe, but they are for lower grade springs.

one thing that does concern me somewhat is their use of a "low-resistance switch assembly". if anyone noticed they are using the dry contacts of transistors instead of metal spring contacts normally used. the resistance difference is more favourable to larger currents, however the inductive properties of the motor on start and de-energization mean that those transistors are going to have to be protected by some blocking diodes that i didn't see in the picture on wgc's site. the dry contacts are definately a better way to go in many applications, but driving a dc motor can be problematic without certain precautions. some systema m16a3 ptw's have suffered from problems related to transistor failure "closed" and i have reservations personally. doesn't mean that it won't work, though, just needs to be done in a specific way.

i might be interested in one of these. but not if it was illegal. why would this gearbox be illegal? note: this would not be used at a game.

Illegality comes from it being over 500FPS and over 5.7J, which I don't think the M150 would quite get to.

Maybe the M150 wont do it, but it will give over 500fps speeds. So if/when it gets chronied, do you honestly feel like fighting the point in Court?

And what other use would you have for this than gaming? That's raising several red flags.
Then again, the person is in Europe. Probably different laws.

if you are doing something that is legal, but, you don't want to... ''risk fighting it it court''...? i mean no disrespect, but how do get out of bed in the morning? and don't worry about that red flag you are seeing, it's called target shooting.

What I mean is... all you need is ONE overzealous official who will say 500fps = firearm. And then it will be up to you to prove the twit wrong.
But... you'll still be inconvenienced. Seems clear to me.

Spitfire, such speeds are illegal here, or they are very close to breaking the Laws in Canada. Your country is obviously not using the same laws.

well, the 150 version is great except for the spring. toss the spring and put in a legal one and your going with greats gears and everything else

Just buy a systema rifle, and buy one m150 spring and a m120 or whatever spring. All you have to do is swap them and since its so easy to swap with the new systema rifles you can have one for targets and one for gaming

i heard about the new GBs in the trainin rifles... they supposed to be very good...
but i have never seen any replacement parts...
(@the law in switzerland: there are actually no laws... the airsoftcomunity created them theirselves... but there are still some who play with gassnipers with 800fps or more... thats bad and not funny...)
