looking for an electronics guru.
Hi,
I need someones help with making a electronic timer :-? . I'm good at construction electronics from a diagram so thats all i really need. I need a three button timer with a single digit display, that can set off a relay and can be set between 1 and 9 secs. I know thats specific and asking a lot. but any help would be great. the button set up would most likely be one for reset, the second for setting the timer to the desired time, and the last to start the count down. Thank you to anyone who posts. |

try an on/off delay relay from OMRON. they are configurable in multiple ways for either on delay or off delay or continuous or cyclic operation. they will also do single cycle operation. i don't remember model # off the top of my head but we use them for analog control for older motor control systems. they're not cheap though. $180 wholesale sticks in my head, but i could be wrong too. they also can run on either 24v, 120v or 208v, etc.

Digital egg timer from the dollar store. Counts down from 99mins or 1 sec and everything in between. Cheap, has a display, good start to lots of projects. Mentioned that in your other thread.
