TM M3 Super 90 Reliability questions....
Hey everyone.
I have been seriously considering getting an M3 Super 90. I have read quite abit about them and I am all but sold on them except for the nozzle breaking issue. So I was just wondering what are the opinions of any one who has owned either the TM M3 Super 90 (short or long) and the TM spas 12's regarding the nozzle issue / reliability. To the people who have owned them : Did you have the nozzle breaking issue? If so did the problem occur soon after getting the gun? Also depending on if you got the gun new or used? All the information that I have read indicates that the nozzle is difficult to repair and getting the replacement parts difficult to track down. So I figured I would ask the people who have had them, to share their experiences on just how quickly and or likely it is for the nozzle issue to occur. I am aware that airsoft is an expensive hobby. I am just weary of spending $375.00 CAD on a gun, and that has this potential issue. I figured getting feedback from some past / present owners might prove fruitful. Any input from people who are knowledgeable about the guns and their nozzle problems, or anyone who has experiences concerning this, the information would be most welcome. Thanks everybody. Rico

I haven't played with my M3 on the field.... but I've put a few hundred rounds through it and it's still going strong. Keep in mind that no matter what you buy, you will eventually need to spend to fix problems that will occur.
I don't believe the hop up becomes an issue untill you're near the 10,000 bb mark or so. The replacement part isn't that expensive.... if I remember correctly it's a $30 part to fix the problem. If you plan on getting a M3 super 90 you'd better be either tall or have long arms... It's a LONG shotty and the pump action doesn't help much with the length.

I bought a used m3 long, which had been sawed-off and had the stock removed. It had seen about a year's worth of gaming when I bought it. I would have to say I put an additional 1000 rounds thru it the time I had it, and it never gave me problems.

My first M3 Shorty I bought new and lasted 2 years and I sold it. The second I bought was used and only lasted 3 months. And I have the 3rd on the way. I think there the best for CQB or outdoor in the winter.

Joe, you can join the club with Ding and I.
I've fixed the nozzle and shell door both on my shotty and it's still working fine. If yours breaks I can show you how to fix it, or help you or whatever you need. The shell door is a really easy fix, and the nozzle isn't as hard as the internet will make you think.

TM M3 Super 90 Reliability questions....
hi everybody
I'm from belgium, and we're with 4 people to have a problem with the nozzle of de TM super90. after use of a bad quality of bb's, the nozzle on the top is broken. I send a mail to uncompany, and ask to order the piece (head with the three nozzle's) and the answer was : " it' difficult to order parts by marui" !!! i think that its incroyable for the users of the super 90, that they should by a new gun jsut for a little broken piece !!! have somebody an idea to find pieces or to fix the problem ??? thanks to you (sorry for my english) greetings |
