KSC Glock 19 mag question
Hi, first post here. Seems like a great site.
Anyway, I have a G19 on the way from UNCompany, and I was wondering if the gas for the gun was stored in the mag, or if the mag was just a connection to a reservoir in the gun itself. I ask because I'd like to buy some extra magazines for it, but wouldn't it be kind of pointless if I emptied the clip of BB's and then changed mags? Isn't there still plenty of air left in the mag (if the air is indeed stored there) for another clip or two of BB's? Any help would be awesome. Thanks. |

The gas (liquid) is stored in all GBB mags these days. Reservoir in the rear part, BBs 'tube' in the front part of it. When you reload your gun, you are putting in fresh gas as well as BBs.

Mag stores gas.
Mag is a magazine, not a clip. You can choose between reloading your one mag on the field by manually inserting 20-odd BBs under fire or drop the mag and reload with a fresh one. I prefer the latter.

Thanks for your help! Oh, and are there any other magazines that will fit in the G19 besides the KSC-made ones? They're really expensive... |

gas is stored in the mag; fill from the bottom, there is a valve at the top/ back of the gun which allows gas to move up to the blowback unit in the slide. extra mags that you put in will also need gas inside to work.
as long as all your mags are gassed up properly then a functioning gbb gun will work. how many bbs does a single mag shoot will depend on how fast you are firing and ambient temperature (some upgrades affect this also). cold day and rapid fire will mean less rounds able to be fired, but ksc's gennerally have at least approx 2 mags worth of gas; meaning that you can fire off a mag, reload and fire of another one. edit: bah it took me 10 mins to write this |

One thing that you CAN do is buy larger KSC Glock mags, like G17/18 mags or the massive 48rd mags. All larger KSC Glock mags will fit your gun no problem, will just stick out the bottom. That way you use them for reloads, not for full time carry. |

IRC KWA and KSC mags are cross compatible. Other than that, there aren't any choices.
