UPGRADING a KJ M700 take down model

Wondering if this gun is worth buying (if i can upgrade it to shoot around 400fps) it's gas operated, but can anyone tell me if this gun can be upgraded at all??

thanks

Jack

More than upgrading, you'll need to downgrade it to make it playable. That gun can REALLY hurt people if used by someone inexperienced.

Ya, a stock KJW M700 will shoot around 450fps or so using duster. Downgrading is in order. I read a review somewhere that said that take down model actually has a flow limiter in it out of the box, shoots somewhere over 300fps on duster I think, so actually buying it, leaving the restrictor in place and using propane (except over +25C days, use duster) might make it safer for new players. Still, be safe if you get it, and never shoot anyone within 80-100ft.

If you actually search the forum, the "kick" from this rifle will likely give your "friends" some new implants on propane in a hot summer day. (I know I wouldn't want a friend to shoot me with an airsoft that shoots over 600fps.)
