Purchase a reinforced mechbox. Their build is completely different from a standard mechbox.

a 300% spring is stupidly powerful. 1st off, there isnt really a mechbox in standard circulation that will handel a 300% spring.
some sniper rifles take big springs, but an AEG, its about the stupidest thing you can do. We here do not recommend you go over a 170% |

My M24 sniper rifle had a 300% spring in it at one point, was damn near imposible to cock the thing when shouldered, had to put the muzzle on my foot and work to pull the bolt back. Anyways, aside from that, the 300% spring screwed up my gun nicely, even after I cut half a dozen coils off it to reduce the 600fps shots out of it. Ended up tossing it and putting a sweet Laylax spring in.
In other words, 300%, even in a PSG-1, is dumb. Not only will it put out way above field limits, it'll wreck other parts of your gun (gears, motor, bust your mechbox and fuck up your hop up because of it) in no time. I put a 150% spring (one of the 'good' ones, puts out around 350fps instead of over 400fps) in my MP5, within about 2000 shots my stock mechbox broke. I put in one of the good reinforced mechboxes, it lasted all last year, 300-400rds per game day twice per month, took it apart last weekend and the mechbox is showing hairline fractures because of it. Catch my drift? |

I think he's talking about upgrading his PSG-1 with the Systema FTK with a 300% spring. That's a version 4 gearbox and not the Version 2s you're thinking about. Also he lives in Indonesia with different FPS rules.
I think Jet Custom makes one but I have no idea where you can get one.

Yes Bruce, I'm talking about PSG-1 with 300% spring... So, I guess there's no method to reinforced your standard mechbox beside buy a reinforced mechbox, isn it ?

It's extremely rare to find anybody in Canada upgrading their PSG-1 so hot that it requires additional reinforcement. If anything, AirsoftCanada would be a poor place to find information on that. You may have better luck with a Hong Kong based forum (although I'd imagine most would be in Chinese).
