TM, Systema, etc?
Hey,
I'm looking into slowly upgrading my G&P M4. Now, I know there are various products out there that I can get. However, which ones are actually worth the moola? Referring to pistons, gears, springs, and the like. FPS is not an issue for me, for the most part I just want to make it run nice and smooooth. Danke!

check some of the threads that illusion has posted in. He seems to be the authority on upgrading here.
For the most part, systema is the benchmark. A few do better, but in general, systema. |

How do you want to upgrade your G&P M4? I'm under the impression that they are preupgraded, (or perform better than say TM stock), right out of the box. I know someone who has one, and it hits pretty hard (I think they come with a 190% spring).

If you want an upgrade for a G&P gun, look at doing something to increase reliablity of the gun. There really is no need to replace any components, except the tappet plate, but there is some "alterations" you can do to increase it's life span.
Remove the o-ring from the airseal nozzle. It adds alot of resistance to the nozzle movement and this has killed alot of tappets. You will lose about 10-15 FPS, but your gun will love you for it. Other than that, don't touch a thing unless something is broken. There really is no need and replacing parts is just a waste of time and money.
