G&P M4 and MAG mags - yes or no
I was considering star mags, ran them in my mp5.. had no problems with them. But I see these MAG ar 15 style mags can be bought in 120 round mid caps for fairly cheap as well. Anyone tried using them in a G&P? Just wanting to know if they fit or not.

star mags are good but 30 rounds tends to go prety quick with the limited accuracy of an airsoft gun. i personaly like mid caps.

I just got a g&p midcap yesterday, and it doesn't feed so well. The spring seems really stiff near the end of loading, and makes all these squeaking noises, lol maybe it needs to be worked in.
I'd go with star mags, everyone seems to have good things to say about them except they're plastic. |

For my G&P M4A1, I found that MAG M4 mags did not sit properly. Might be an isolated problem with G&P rifles though as it works just fine in TM M4's. Of the eight G&P mags that I have, a couple have given me problems when filled to the absolute max. After filled and emptied the mags a few times, it seems to be better. Remember even if you get mid caps, it doesn't mean you have to fill them completely.

Star mags don't fit the G&P SPR either (at least the one I have expereince with).

I am a huge fan of TM midcap mags. They fit like a glove into the G&P M4 and feed flawlessly. Stay away from the G&P magazines, its just a waste of lubricant.

I have excellent expereince with the G&P MP5 midcaps, I have two and feed like there is now tomorrow, even when stuffed and first fired on semi (where TM locaps don't feed unless a full auto burst is let off before hand.)

I have 8 MP5 G&P mid-caps, they work great. I also have 1 TM low-cap, it works well, even though it was heavily used previously.

I meant M4 mags, not MP5. Should have been more specific. :P
I have 6 G&P MP5 Mags myself.
