looking to get into airsoft

Hi I am looking to get into airsoft I have always been interested in the military and tactics they use but I, am having a hard time finding stores in Edmonton don’t know if this helps but my budget is $500 for now any help would be appreciated
P.S what does Spring Air Repeater mean i I have never heard of this I have heard of gas blow back and spring operated but not of this
