G&P EBR
G&P has finally posted some pics and info (not much but some) on their site.

I kind of like the look of the KA one. Looks a bit lounger but takes only a 9.6v 1100mAh battery. I have also read that the G&P one can change stocks like the real EBR.

Finally a cheaper version. Now it's up to the big decision of changing my M-14 or buying a new one and changing that into the EBR

Well on WGC they have the new KA one for around $600. However the G&P one can take a bigger battery and you can change the stock with M870 stocks (not 100% on that just read it on Arnie's) but yet again the KA one is longer and I kind of like that a bit better.

Bigger battery is always nice though when I play i think the most mags I ever went through in a day on my M-14 is 4 locaps. So even an 1100mah battery would be ok. I also kinda like the KA one better. I have a feeling instead of getting a whole new AEG I might pick one of these up. I also like the look of that stock so unless it is extremely uncomfortable I probably would not change it.

It actually looks the exact same dimensions as the King Arms version as far as I can tell from these 'net photos.
It might look different because the original KA version did not come with the polymer handguard. The new USD$603 version comes with the handguard and as far as I can tell, they look almost the same. I'd like to know where the battery goes, though... New King Arms version: |

Unless there is some weird barrel length situation going one. Which is strange that the RAS might even be smaller and hold a larger battery. |

Looks like possibly the G&P one with the polymer handguard might have that little bit of extra space where the handguard is to be able to accept a larger battery, unless the handguard is removeable then it might be a bit larger then the KA one. Regardless I'm still trying to decide now which I like more, with the handguard or without.

The new KA one has one that you can take off and on.

That is one beautiful kit right there. Too bad its so expensive for just the kit...

Well the G&P one looks pretty accurate, I'm only disappointed they opted to put a long barrel on it instead of the normal short one. Hopefully there'sll be a propper short barrel variant.
Either way, nice piece to go with my Marine/FR kit

I'm pretty sure all the kit is, is the body kit. The barrel assembly you pull out of the TM M-14 and drop into it along with the internals.

All of the KA ones seem to go closer to the gas block. Another thing I just noticed, the elongated vents at the top towards the shooter, some pictures show FIVE holes there (such as the KA one shown at the top of this thread), but some other pictures show only FOUR holes (such as the ones I posted.) But other than that, looking at the real EBR and comparing it to these airsoft pictures, the G&P one does look more accurate, being shorter than the King Arms one. Anyways, seeing all these EBR kits just makes me that much closer to building my baby... |
