How long does Age Verification take?

i've emailed/pm'd both representive in the area i live (Vancouver bc), and none of them has given me any responce. I for one really want to get into this hobby and i feel a little frustrated (cosmetic part). I'm just looking for a Styer AUG or a P90 that i want to convert for paintball use. And hopefully purchase some for field play.

I've read all the important FAQ's and tried to remember every point to my best ability and i've even checked every retailer up there for the rifle/weapon i was looking for and couldn't find it. I've checked in the "Gun and Gear Retailer FAQ" and lot of the links in there are either outdated or the site up and left.

I have no clue what else to do. I might be a newbie to this forum, but i'm not a newb that asks and doens't do their homework.
anyways, please and thanks for any info or on anything you guys can tell me to help.

- Ve

Did you miss the part where Airsoft shoots 6mm bbs and the 6mm paintballs will screw up your $500 AEG? How exactly do you plan on converting an AEG for paintball use?

Just use the frame and strip all the internals I would assume.

Age verifications, if you want it to be a speedier process, post in the one of the game threads and ask if there will be any age verifiers at the event. Since more age verifiers have work and such, it might take them longer to reply to messages.

Like so:

i plan on replacing all the insides of the Gun and retrofitting PB equiptment.
I just want a one of a kind marker that no one else has around here. Plus i dont plan on buying an Authentic TM and butching it. I'm just lookin for the toy cheap counterpart.
Or if i can just find the shell of either guns then it'll get my project rolling.

not a classified section.

it can take time. As a verifier myself, I dont always get around to answering emails every day. and even then, it can take upwards of a week to setup a meeting. Life is busy. Be paitent, the reps will get to you.....

You are prettymuch loosing your time here since the cheap AEG you are looking for are not often for sale here, because we don't use them.

You are better off looking online for those cheap ass toys.
Butchering a perfecly good TM P90tr is blasphemy.

How about from getting a verification agent to take down your info, to being recognized as being verified on the boards?

I've tried twice with reps here, but nothing has occurred as of yet.

EDIT - Wait a minute. I'm an idiot, and have been verified.

Heh, that's pretty cool.

I considered modifying an electro pball gun to shoot airsoft. I bought a Mephisto electro to shoehorn into a CA 249. The plan was to hook up the bolt to cycle a faux bolt and shunt much of the gas out a port to make a nice loud noise. Ended up ditching the project. Too much engineering for a one off custom gun. I don't have the time for career guns anymore.

i will post plenty of pics and video once it's finished.
i'm also now curious as to if anyone knows that if TM would sell the shell of the p90 seperately?

Pretty douptfull. Enve if they where willing, you would not be able to import it. And if you did "legally", it would cost as much as the full gun.

Maybe when things slow down at the shop I'll look into making some fiberglass bodies to drop m98's or A-5s into. might be a neat project.
