Good effin christ!!!!
VFC, JLS, CA, and now Star in the SCAR Lineup. This time Star has really hit the ball on the nose with the quick change barrel system, L version and EGLM. God I am gonna shiat my pants. No word on the price yet, but with past Star products it's gonna be expensive. Check it out right here: http://starairsoft.sev76.001at.com/coming/SCAR.htm

Star is making a lot more than FN SCAR.
Mk43, L96, New and improved M14 Troy SOPMOD and etc... |

I'd be a lot more interested in their Mk43 if it wasn't all plastic like their 249's. CA for support guns for me still if I ever get one.
I still prefer the Masada over the SCAR-L aesthetically but the SCAR-H...now I'm torn. Last edited by LUTNIT; February 6th, 2007 at 23:46.. |

Still wondering mechbox version though. I have looked at the pins on the lower
reciever and I cant find anything to match it. V.2, V.3, I just cant find one!

Im thinking can that nade launcher fit normal m4s... since they do use normal lower M4 reciever... I really want that sooooo badly...
EDIT: It does! |

Looks good overall but I'm worried about the mech box aswell. Plus the flash hidder looks awful. Anyway, It's always great to have new models coming out.

The "with a hemi" comment didn't strike you as the whole thing being sarcasm? Theres no point in using a ver.8 unless you want the 3 round burst and if it was included it would be a feature listed in their advertisements.
STAR designs a lot of their own proprietary mechboxes using mostly standard internal parts. Wouldn't surprise me if this was a cross between a ver.2 and ver.3 or a new breed all together. I've had a STAR M249 Para and currently have an L85A2 AFV, I trust their design and quality control. Last edited by LUTNIT; February 7th, 2007 at 00:24.. |

Wow....SCAR-L, SCAR-H AND the SCAR grenade launcher!?!?! STAR has hit the jackpot.
But one thing, if "silver" denotes metal, and "black" denotes ABS, why is the lower receiver plastic? Is that how it is on the real thing? |
