Best looking, "stylish" pistol

Hi all,

I shoot fashion photography. I want to shoot some glamour and I have a theme I want to pursue. Secret/double agent, extremely stylized... think JT's Sexyback.

So I'm looking for a pistol as a prop. It will be quite high resolution so any "cheapness" will be pretty apparent if the viewer is paying attention.

I was originally thinking about a Glock 19 but then it looks more utilitarian than screaming elegance and grace. USP? Too large. Maybe a Sig or a Walther.

What are the best copies in terms of looks? I will not be taking this to a game. Most I'd actually DO with it is maybe shoot paper targets but even that I'm doubtful.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers
-kai

//edit: GBBs are expensive... for a prop. I was originally looking at springers/EBBs but have heard they look/feel cheaper and are made of plastic...

Well if you want something that screams sexy, a full metal SIG might be up your alley, but it will rape you price wise. As for a P99, good luck finding one, and even rarer, one that's metal.

Trust me, you're not going to be spending under $200 for one. Make sure you're age verified first before you buy anything, cuz you won't be able to if you don't.

Worst comes to worst, get friendly with some of the members who live near you (might want to put your location in your profile) and ask if you can rent their guns for a photoshoot.

Hi,

Thanks for the quick reply.

I want a P99, SIG looks too military and brutish for me. Maybe I'll stick with a glock.

Are there stores in which we can borrow GBBs? More like purchase and refund, given that it was never fired. I don't mind putting a full value deposit. (this is what we do with model's clothing)

Borrowing from members seems to be the best idea. I wont be able to financially compensate (have to pay for models, makeup artists, etc) but I am sure if decent collateral is involved it should be fair enough.

Age verification, very good concept. Keeps the maturity level more controlled. I'm in Toronto. I'll look into that.

Thanks again.

Cheers,
-kai

hmm i don't really know about the stores. give Airsoft Canada Armoury a call on weekdays, they might be able to help you out. I don't think they have much GBBs in stock but if you want a big honking assault rifle in your photos they will do :P

Hey,

What is your real name? I too used to shoot fashion when I lived in Toronto and did some having relocated in Boston.

I primarily shoot automotive for a variety of publications and do commercial on the side.

Cheers,
KaOz.

I don't know, unless there were $ involved, I wouldn't go out of my way to get someone to fingerfuck my blaster.

Custom piece?

Not looking to sell it at the moment, but I can let it go if the price is right.

I'm pretty sure it's well beyond your budget, if you think a GBB is "expensive."

well...It might sound pretty weird but a ruger mkIII assassin would look cool, would it?

and I think the glocks are too military or kind of too police like
the colt series are really hot but dont look as special agent as a p99 would
i would honnestly go for the kjw sig p226 full metal with markings or even a WA black full metal possibly and a good looking silencer

First of all JT's Sexyback, is not slick and stylist, it's computer generated fecal matter, and if you want slick and stylish nothing like a nice 1911, in basically any format.
