I am just wondering what takes so long over there at asc. To get my age verificaton done. It has been three weeks that I have been waiting. If I took 3 weeks to do something as little a stroke a cupple of keys on a keyboard I would get most definatily FIRED. :banghead:

verifiers collect the data and send it to Lisa. When Lisa gets the time, she adds people. Its not likes she is getting paid.
If your delay is a problem, contact the person who verified you.

Good job, you basically did the equivalent of pissing off the teenager who makes you greaseball burgers at McDicks.

Enjoy your wad of spit.

Well I've got no outstanding verifications... maybe your verification got lost between the verifier and me... it happens. either they lose the scrap of paper it is on, they send it to the email address I haven't checked in 8 months, they forget or they accidently file it in the round file cabinat.

I knew the thread would go this way :P

And your right.

Took me two weeks for my verification to go through. People just gotta sit back, chill out and hope it all pans out.

Every verifier is different. Some guys wait to compile a list before they submit, some guys submit one at a time as they get them done.

I submit same day, but it can still take a week for it to be processed.

Be patient.

I get about 20-40 verifications a week. Each one takes on average 2-3 minutes to process, between waiting on the site to look up the name, adding the flag, registering the verifier and putting the name in the second database of the verifiers. that's when the name is spelt right... sometimes people write down their name wrong when they give it to the verifier, other times people don't even know their name when they give it to the verifier. and then there's times where they have a name that brings up 10 hits and none of them are the exact name they gave and they didn't give any other info that matches anything in their profile. It's a little more then a couple key strokes and it can get tedious. Maybe we should start charging for verification so you have a legitimate reason to bitch about it not done as fast as you like.

i whould gladly give a 5$ to ATF Feanor not only for verifying me but for the fact that he waited for me on a corner of the street at -12c and took the time to talk a bit with me. if it whould become a formality i whould call him back to give him his 5$ today.
