The sky already fell, where were you guys?

If Ken gets in more than 3 guns, and that's a HUGE if, then there may be a small cause for relief. But 11 vendors shut down in 12 months, 1 hoping to re-open and 2 new ones with very limited stock does not make me in any way hopeful.

I think it's fairly safe to assume that there will be no more retailers left in Canada before summertime. Then it's groups orders for parts to keep the guns running.

There's something very Cuban about this whole mess.

Well, personally, I'll probably just be selling my guns soon (and getting everyone on the team to do the same) and moving on and doing other things with my life. Don't get me wrong, I love airsoft, but my team is small and without easy access to new guns recruiting will be awfully difficult and with everyone growing up and such we're having a hard time moving forward with it anyways.

Still, this sucks. Heh.

There will aways be a retailer. every one should just stop thinking about it. the law will never stop us. Just look at drugs, they cant stop them from being delt.they try but it just slipes past the raydar.. there is always going be another way to get our airsoft fix.

So it's almost time to start carting airsoft across lake erie on my cigarette boat... I need to stop spending money on airsoft and start upgrading my ride so I can outrun the coast guard lol.

Seriously though, airsoft will probably never get outright banned in canada. I think we have at least a year or two to enjoy this gray area of the law we all live in before anything actually happens.

And when it does I'll bet my bottom dollar that it will just be regulated instead of made illegal. There is just to much of it floating around... to many pellet guns and bb guns that fall into the same catagory.

I just can't see the RCMP busting down my door and arresting me for owning a RedRider BB gun lol.

Airsoft with Stoner trademarks etc... yah those might be in trouble, it always kinda suprised me that they get away with using copyright and trademarked designs on their guns.

Ok,there has to be something were missing. Why would a guy thats already been raided risk getting raided again? This doesnt make sense. Is there a possibility that the Government/Customs is raiding all these guys that arent playing by the rules(not having this import license). Getting rid of all these guys so that way they can have a finger over all of the importing. I think assuming that Ken@007 would risk getting raided for a couple of bucks that he makes off the guns would say he isnt a very intelligent person(and I dont think thats the case). I think everyone is jumping the gun(no pun intended) on this one. Just a thought.

I think any retailers that are still going right now may just be on the low with all the political BS going on, some liberal some where is just waiting for us to mess up so they can get a vote when the time comes.
