Pulling Trigger does nothing?

MP5 Version 2 Gearbox:
When i was just shooting a box, i put the gun into semi auto and it shot 3 times with one trigger pull, next trigger pull i did, it didnt even shoot, i didnt hear any electrical noises or mechanical noises, so im not sure whats wrong but when i opened it up, i found a tiny piece broken off of a bigger piece near the trigger, i just was wondering what piece is it?

If it's made of nylon/white plastic it looks like the end of the trigger contact block that when you pull the trigger, it moves forward in between the contact leaves and connects the motor to the battery. Hence the spring sitting there. Should *still* shoot because the trigger pushes the block forward, but that hook and spring moves the block backwards when you release the trigger.

Worst case scenario, you need to find a trigger block assembly from somewhere and install it. Luckily, I haven't seen much difference in that assembly between V2 mechbox types, so you don't have to focus exclusively on MP5 parts.

oh thank god... but i still dont understand why there arent any noises coming from the mech box. do you like the trigger assembly could have something to do with the electrical wiring?
