p226 questions

Hi guys, I was wondering before I purchase anything if the HI-capa recoil springs can be put in a kjw p226, since I heard it could be done with a tokyo marui, and if it can be done with the tm it should work in a p226....

I really want maximum power out of my p226...
-highest fps
-best recoil
-heaviest way possible...

also as for the outer barrel I assume tm one could fit in the kjw version...with some filling, no?

thanks, Michael

highest fps - change the valve in your mag

yes, the tm 226 mag valve can fit in your KJ because KJ just copy from TM right away.

In gas pistols, longer inner barrels yield drastic improvements in velocity, especially if the new barrel is a tightbore to shoot heavier BBs.

hammer spring
mag valve
tightbore barrel like a 6.03

I have for sale a PDI 6.01mm tightbore that's even longer than stock. It comes with a threaded silencer adapter that you clamp on to the inner barrel. This barrel yields more velocity than a 6.03mm Nine Ball.

Upgraded Floating valves (or "Power Bulbs") also yield an fps increase.

hammer spring - do not change a too heavy hammer spring, otherwise the slide is hard to kick back the hammer at the last few rounds or may be more

mag valve - suggest to change a high flow valve but u need to change a harder recoil spring b4 u do it

tightbore barrel - just a little help to maximise the fps unless u have a longer barrel is more than 3 inches.
