WA SCW2 & SCW3 Interchangeable?
Hello all!
I was wondering if anyone have any experience with these WA pistols. I am on the market for a full metal kimber, my question is will metal kits made for the SCW2 and SCW3 be interchangeable. Example: If I have a WA SCW2 stock gun and would like to place in a metal kit that is made for the SCW3 will it work? Vise Versa... Thanks for the help. |

I was just researching that over at Arnies today. Apparently SCW2/3 frames and internals are interchangable, even though there are some differences between SCW2 and 3 internals.

why didn't ya ask me? Dude, y'know I've been workin' on WAs for a while .... tsk tsk tsk.
Anyway.. You'll encounter some problems with the firing pin as SCW2 uses a different firing pin, and blowback mechanism. You'd be better off sourcing a SCW2 kit.. Goodluck mate! |

SCW3 has a fixed hopup, so I'd go with a SCW2.

Both are good. Not much is different on the 2, and 3 models. 2 has more parts available, but 3 is new, and has some very small (unnoticeable) refinements.
I run an SCW2 with a 6.03. Amazing grouping, and great kick. You'll see her soon enough though ^_^ |
