WA Colt 1911 SCW3

Hi there. I was just wondering if this
http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper...-8130_srch_MEU
would fit on a WA Colt 1911 SCW3. I'm assuming it would, but just making sure.

SCW, and SCW 3 are pretty damn different, FYI.

SCW2, and 3 are almost the same. Firing pins are a bit different, and BBU is slightly different aswell.

Well it's just that the SCW, SCW2, and SCW3 safety's look very similar:

http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper..._WA%20Handguns

and that's the only WA safety available for purchase.

I used to own that .45 shorty (in black)... Nice piece'o'kit.

Anyway, the safeties shouldn't be a problem if they were intended for use on scw2... Hell, I used to swap out complete slides with my SVIX (scw2), and shorty... Very compatible.

I was also looking at a metal slide. Will any 1911/SV slide work?

SV being Strayer Voight? Yeah, ofcourse. But if you don't feel like moding , just stick with a scw3 slide. Better safe than sorry. Especially since some PGC slides go for over $250.

I was looking, but almost none of the slides on UNC, Redwolf, and WGC say "SCW3".
