Question for future upgrade????
Would it be cheaper to buy a TM AK47 new in box for 450 and upgrade it myself or get one thats been used but upgraded for 600ish????
Also i was thinking of modding my buyairsoft.ca M14 Spring. Would i just need a new spring or is there anything else that would be needed??? For the TMAK47 i was thinking of upgrading it to shoot 380fps, buy a sling, 2 hicaps and in the future upgrade it to metal and if possible real wood. |

I would not buy a TM if you want a metal body. I gone down that road and it expensive considering metal bodies are stock on all the other high-end and some mid-level AEGs. Just my opinion.
Besides an M120, you should get new bushings without the oil tracks, reshim your gears (do the best job you can), and possibly get a new battery. A large 9.6v is personal preference, I would choose an intellect 8.4v 4200. Once your gears strip, get some torque gears but go ahead and use the ones you have. I got 50,000 on my stock TM gears at ~380FPS. When you are ready to get a new MB look for one that comes with 7mm or 8mm (being the better) bearings. If you plan on shooting long bursts you should consider using a MOSFET switch. I would look at a CA sl105. CA use high torque motors and come with reinforced MB, metal bushing/bearings, and metal body. hop this helps, mateba |

Ok... I own a TMAK47. Do NOT put a M120 in it (mateba, we have some laws to consider here that you dont know).
For the TM, all you need are metal bushings and a very mild spring. Maybe a spring guide. The rest can be added later IF you really need it. Or you can do the much smarter move of getting the gun and leaving it STOCK for at least a season of gaming. After that season, you will know what to do, or if you even need it. Right now a lot of what you want to do is buy crap or useless. Get some direct experience first. |
