Bushmaster Sniper kit
I bought a Bushmaster sniper kit through Huang on here but he doesnt know how long of a Inner Barrel is needed for the kit, i asked if it would just be an M16 inner but he said that its too short, so i emailed uncompany.com and they have no idea either cause they dont have one in stock to measure for me. Can the PSG inner be used in a M4? cause im thinkin that i'll just buy the longest one avail and cut it down if i dont find someone that knows the proper size. The kit is comming from Beijing so i have a week or so to find out, id just hate to have the kit here before i have everything ready for it to fire

Guesstimation, but based on the picture he posted I'd say that was a 24" barrel. Either way, if the M16 inner is too short, the next one up is the 650mm PSG1 inner (24" =~ 610mm, so you just need to chop a bit off the end)

I have a bushmaster kit and a 510/509mm M16 inner fits perfectly. Also, a PSG inner is 590mm, the 650mm is an extended inner (Drake knows but just stating for reference), if you do travel that route (650mm), even with a systemA bore-up I was getting some barrel suck unless I really kept up with my seals.

nice grip daes, thanks alot. i'll grab a 6.02 509mm then
one more question for Daes, is there a 14mm +/- thread on the end for a silencer?

I am pretty sure that I am using the KA version, which in that case, no, there is no threading. Mind you, if you loose the front-end (front barrel, gas block) there is threading, just the silencer will be sunken to the fore-grip.
Just looking at Huangs post there, his version has a longer front barrel, by around ~2-4 inches I would guess. Mine definitely looks a little shorter. Can't hurt to keep safe and get the 510mm but if you want to go the $$$ route, get a bore-up kit, a Modify torque-up gear thingy (it's new, it's hip), nice strong spring, and a Madbull 590mm tightbore. -Daes |

Woah nice AEG Sniper Kit you got there Daes. Is that piece on the very end of it a silencer?

The fluted ends are just part of the Sniper kit that thread onto the stock outter barrel but it looks to be a silencer on the end of that RAS unit which also looks quite sexy

i already have quite the gear box. Just not a bore-up kit, prolly just throw in a stock M16 Cylinder as they arent vented for the longer barrel. My gun shoots 460 give or take on average, the only thing really stock is the trigger mechanism, piston and cylinder.

From what I've read, the long version take 590mm, the mid length (as pictured above)509mm, and carbine length 363mm.
