Flush Sitting RIS
I'm looking for a RIS kit for an m4 that sits flush with the receiver and top rail, where there is no delta ring, kind of like the HK416. Sorry, that is not a good explanation, but I don't know how to explain it. Is there any such kit available?
Thanks, Dustin |

Damn, I was afraid I would have to go with that kit, although it is very nice.

You're looking for a free-floating extended rail. Look for KA's Troy MRF replica, or Daniel Defense LiteRail.

G&P URX foregrip and KA Free Float Forearm Rail System are 2 that I can think of right away. There are also others that rely on a top rail to bridge the gap between the foregrip and receiver like a CASV or SIR system.

King Arms makes a knockoff of the TROY MRFs
Daniel Defense has a similar setup, there's a Chinese knockoff of it (by Element, I think) Madbull makes a licensed copy of the JP front ends And the KAC URX (airsoft version by G&P) Any of those should be importable without problem.

Where do they sell the Daniel Defense clone? I can't find one on any of the international retailers.
Thanks, Dustin |

Having the real thing doesn't mean much to me, if I can get a cheaper one that does the same thing, I will.

Regarding the Daniel Defense rail, after looking online I could not find any company that would ship these out of the USA. They have a Canadian retailer www.wolverinesupplies.com but they told me that they didnt have any in stock and their next batch wasnt due for 2-3 months.
Ebaybanned.com emailed me to say that Element would be releasing different lengths of thier copy sometime after the Chinese New Year. |
