Changing a PDW to a K
I was looking for a mp5K "outter barrel" in order to replace the barrel on my PDW. I love the K for the snubnose barrel look, but I own a PDW and I find the barrel/flash hider horrendus. I bought it cause the price was right and I wanted the little extras that came with the Echo 1 PDW. Stock, 2 mags, spare butt plate, batt, sight mount. I was going to just hacksaw off the barrel so its flush and then powder coat it black again. But I think id rather just find some replacement parts to make it a K. Any ideas?

I say cut it. Even if you mess it up, it can't be that bad at the range that you'd use a K with. Make sure you disassemble and clean very thoroughly before/after the cut, and if you can do something to crown it, all the better.

If you want it so badly, I happened to have a set of, no longer in use original TM MP5K barrel and flash hider (if you can call this thing flash hider).
