SPR MK12 Mod 0 Kits

Hey everyone.

Its me. Again. 2 months ago I posted about how I wanted to get the Madbull/JP Rifle 12" kit, and which gun would go best with it. Ive decided on the gun (CA M15A4 Sportline), but now Ive taken intrest in the SPR MK12 Mod 0. Ive looked around, and it seems pretty obvious that GB-Tech/VFC kit is the best out there other then the real steal, but for $530.00 USD thats just not gonna happen.

I also noticed that theres the PM Concept parts, but once thats all put together, its still fairly pricy. Then theres the random Marines brand on someone on Arnies was talking about, but its still like $450.00 USD I think? So thats not really and option either. So then theres the Classic Army kit. It looks good and all, but it doesnt come with the top rail or the silencer. But since PM Concept sells the parts seperatly, I could just purchase the extra stuff I need and then build it from there.

So my real question is, are there any other options out there? Any help would be appreciated greatly.

Justin

Hey.

I know thats what I should do, but other then the fact that it'll take me months to save that much ( I'm living on my own, with a car and bills to pay, I know I know, join the club, etc. etc. lol) I cant really justify buying a kit that only converts the frontend of my gun that also costs about 3 times as much as my gun, so thats why I was wondering if there are any alternatives such as the CA one.

Contact Huang he sells a few of the SPR Mk12 Mod front ends. It is Dboys brand, but it is super cheap like $150 or something for the nitro rail, front end, barrel, front flip and rear flip up sights, and flashhider.

Hey.

Yeah, I know I should, well see, I REALLY dont wanna wait that long thought lol. And yeah, I noticed the DBoys one, my only problem with it though is its cheap, like quality cheap, and unless I get alot of proof that its okay to get then im not gonna bother with it.

The Dboys one is working fine for me but you may have to drill a hole into your reciever to accept the gas tube if there isn't a hole already. Becasue the gas tube is basically what keeps the barrel from wobbling. Paint isn't bad, I have no idea what quality issues you may be speaking of aside from the fact that the rail covers it came with are crap.

I have the Dboys mod 1, and the quality on this thing is amazing. Also, very cheap from Huang.

Hey.

I meant there were people talking about it on other forums that said dont even bother with it really, so I figured I wont touch it until theres proof from people on here that its okay. And from what I can asume, you have the Mod 1 dont you yahnchan? Im looking into getting the Mod 0, which quite different. But thanks for the info, thats good to know.

Hey

Well the kit doesnt change the magwell or anything, just a front end kit. But the whole gun itself is a different story, I dont think there were any problems with most mags fitting the DBoys gun, but well have to see if others jump in on this.

If you don't mind the look of a full RIS (a la SPR12 Mod 1 or SR15 M-5 Match), the CA frontend is pretty good. I have one myself and love it to death. It's hella beefy too...pain in the ass to get on Hurricane/SystemA bodies, but it'll turn your AEG into a baseball bat, and nothing short of three grown men and a sweedish pipe wrench will be able to move it.

Hey

I saw the CA stuff, they actually have a MK12 Mod 0 front end too, but it doesnt come with the OPS silencer and the top rail.

Well, from what i've heard on other forums, the D Boys cosmetic quality is very high. Want a cheaper way to change your rifle to a MK12 mod 0? This is what i'm going to do.

Buy a Dboys SPR Mk12 Mod 0, switch the front ends around with whatever m16/m4 variant you have, and then sell the still in the box d boys gun as an m16 or whatever it will turn out to be.

Should work out pretty cheap as long as you get a fair price for a gun you never once fired.

Hey

Wouldnt it be just cheaper to buy the frontend kit instead of the whol gun and swapping the parts out, and then try and sell it, which loses me money because no one is gonna buy the gun for the same price I did? lol
