Digital camo stencls.
Ive been looking all around the net hoping to find decent camo stencils. after about two weeks i decided there just arent any good ones. :banghead:
this is where i sat down with photoshop and decided i could make a marpat/acu type stencil myself. this is what i came up with. first layer after the base color http://usera.imagecave.com/darkagent343/1.jpg second layer http://usera.imagecave.com/darkagent343/2.jpg third and final layer http://usera.imagecave.com/darkagent343/3.jpg they are all 8inx10in so they fit a standard peace of paper, I don't know how well they work just yet on a gun (im still cutting them out) but when you put them on top of each other and look at a bright light they seem to be amazingly simaler to the actual pattern. |

Let me look around. I used to have the original Photoshop CADPAT file with layers and all that I got direct from the "Clothe the Soldier" program staff as CADPAT was just starting to be fielded. It was originally intended to be printed on a 48" x 48" and a HUGE Photoshop file. If I can find it I'll post it up.

you could always get ME to laser them out on some sort of sticky paper or something...my laser works miracles...I do alot of "stencils" for various peoples art projects and stuff...
shit, i was just about to paint some of my m16 in Krylon Camouflage, but now you got me thinking about making some stencils, if anyone finds a decent one, i will cut some stencils out of clear vinyl and try them out on my full stock and grip. BTW, is Krylon Camouflage "Khaki" what i want to use for a "Tan" look? they dont have a "tan" version, just satin almond (fusion) and Khaki (camouflage) Im trying to match the Tan on my Madbull MAX bamboo ris grips... i tried looking for it but with no luck...
i once saw a video on youtube or googlevideo. this guy had an od tm p90 and he had simple random squares of beige and black on it. though he didnt have very many squares on it, they were well spaced apart.

It is not laser, but I have acces to a 24" vinyl cutter. I used it already to make some R/C cars paint...
I will try to find one to give you an idea... The flames where cut in some material specially made for painting. Some kind of waxed masking tape... *edit* Forgot... I can run anything that is vectorized. |

Hate to be a party pooper, but...
http://www.hyperstealth.com/consealm...der/index.html 3M Adhesive material that you can paste to your gun in various camouflages. Or, if you still want to paint... http://lauerweaponry.com/duracoatcol...n&Category=240 Even have multicam... (Their photos are crap, but the actual paint jobs are amazing). Just thought I'd post a head's up.
