A&K M249 Releasing the Spring
Is there a way to release the spring on the A&K M249 after your finished using it for the day to ensure the spring isn't compressed when you put the gun away.
I realize on a normal rifle with a Semi-Automatic setting you can fire it on semi auto a couple of times to get the spring to release but there is only one mode on the M249 which is fully auto. So how does a person know the spring is decompressed? Help on this is greatly appreciated.

You can try to tap your trigger, or you can take out the spring in your gun till the next time you shoot.
