P90 J-Battery
So i picked up myself a Sanyo 9.6v J Battery for my TM P90. I've cut a space in the plastic plate holding the mechbox in, i've shaved the raised lines on the inside of the butt plate, yet it still refuses to fit properly.
The battery will slide in no problem, still tight but it fits, i've removed the fuse and shortened the wires inside the P90, however i cannot connect the deans and fit the on the butt plate, its one or the other. I'm aware that i can get an extended stock for it to better accomidate a larger battery, however i'd prefer to not go that route. Any suggestions on how to make this thing fit? |

http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthr...t=15674&page=2 That might help, if not maybe something else is helpful in that thread that could solve your issue. *edit, sorry youve already done that. Hmmm Removed Fused Shaved the backplate. Hmmm I think Im out of suggestions too. You still may find something helpful in that other thread though. Best of luck.

If you don't want an extended stock, you can get a battery bag.

battery bags are quite ugly in my opinion, especially on a compact weapon such as the P90. Uhm, try contacting Greykin, I know he did the j batter mod to his P90 a while back.

Are you using the 1500mAh or 1700mAh cells? You'll have a much easier time with the 1500mAh cells.

its a 1700 mAh batt, it fits, just super tight. i can't have the deans connected and the battery in the gun at the same time.
