HK 416 metal body upgrade

hey, i have the jg hk 416 with the external battery pack. the body is made out of cheap plastic i was wondering if:

Yes you can BUT the rail on the upper receiver is lower than the rail on the handguard. There will be a nice gap between the two rails.

I don't see the ABS body on JG as being and 'cheaper' than any other brand of AEG, including Marui. The 416 has by far the nicest looking ABS body I've seen to date.

That being said, I think that even if the rails lined up, you'd be ruining the looks of your gun and taking away it's uniqueness by getting an M4 body. Since you're in the UK, you should probably consider getting yourself an actual 416 metal body kit.

also, i have another problem, i broke the hop in my gun :P do u no what new hop i need and where i can get one?

The usual Hong Kong airsoft retailers like Redwolf, WGC, UNCompany, etc should either have or be able to get the 416 metal bodies. The Hurricane one is a highly sought after kit, and tends to be a bit more expensive, but quite worth it.

As for the hopup, a standard Tokyo Marui plastic hopup unit will replace that nicely.

I'm not sure what kind of import restrictions you have in the UK, but I know they're not as strict as Canadian restrictions. These places ship to anywhere in the world where it is legal to import these items.

lol Sorry to laugh at your 'pain' there dude, but you haven't experienced "expensive airsoft" until you've bought stuff in Canada, where the price is usually 2-4 times what you'd pay elsewhere in the world for the same item.

Your a kid? I'm not sure how similar the legal rules would be out there compared to here, but out here you need to be a minimum of 18 to buy an airsoft gun.
