MY mp5-sd5 wont shoot no more...
So i was playing with my new mp5-sd5 i was so happy untill the rof slowed down rapidly. I thought it was the battery. So i charged it full. I checked it with my volt metre 8.71volts so it was full. I put the battery in the gun and click. click. Thats all it made. The gun was GONE!. The motor barely moves. I removed the put plate took out the motor and connected it. Click vroom. But the vroom was WEAK!. I could stop it with my pinky. I thought it was gone. But i rememberd some people on asc could probably help me. Please help me asap. I really want my gun back.! its soo COOL!

8.71 volts is not full. When near complete charge, my charger reads 10+ volts on an 8.4V battery.

How do i tell if the fuse is blown? Also what type of fuse do i need to replace it.
Also is the fuse the thing in the black box on my connecter wire? Looks like a cylinder shape. |

If his fuse was blown he wouldn't get anything out of the motor. Check it anyway but if you heard something come out when it was connected it should be intact. Fully charge the battery (use a good charger or find a battery you know is good). Also, check to make sure that the spring coil thing on both sides of the motor (on the bottom) are connected. They go around a post on each side. If one has broken or come off your motor will run but you'll get no torque.

I checked the motor and the posts and everything its all good. If its burnt does it looks dark slver? I smelled my fuse and it was like a burning rubber smell.

Next time if your gun doesn't fire don't keep pulling the trigger. That's how you usually burn fuses.

The fuse is the cheapest thing/part you can buy for your gun. |

Just take the damn burnt fuse out and bring it to the store and get an identical replacement. It's simple common sense.
You can get packs of 3 of them for under $5. It's the cheapest part to replace on an AEG. Based on his last post about this gun, it seems this isn't a skill he's mastered yet.
