Tokyo Marui P90 600 FPS upgrade?

Budget = high
ROF = Doesn't matter much, just make it shoot auto.
Life = matters, shouldn't break on the second day.

What do you suggest?
Not my gun, my friend likes to shoot cans, bottles and watermelons, so it's not for skirmish, it won't get out of our shooting range actually.

For what I know, you'll have to upgrade everything inside the gearbox:
- hi torque motor (like the systema magnum)
- reinforced gears
- reinforced piston (full metal teeth would be perfect)
- reinforced piston head/cylinder head
- ball bearing spring guide
- insane spring (I don't know if they're doing some)
- reinforced gearbox shell

But hey, 600fps is over the legal limit !! I suggest you to raise it to 500fps or you'll need a firearm license for an airsoft gun !

Even for shooting cans, stock TM can deliver good performances (at least if you don't want to shoot thru 5cans). If you want to spend almost 300$ or more of upgrades go for it...

Not unless the fps -AND- the joule limit are both reached or surpassed. 500 fps and 5.7 joules are hard to attain together. So you can have more than 500 fps as long as it shoots less than 5.7 joules.

Actually, our players are against FPS over 350. It's just my friend thats a bit crazy heheh.
No legality problems at joules here, as long as the gun isn't shown in public or used for bad purposes, it's cool. Our customs are a bit problem though, especially with replicas of turkish army weaponary, without a huge orange tip it's really hard to pass a rifle that is also used in the army.
Airguns that shoot over 1000 FPS also doesn't require license, but if you dare to hunt with them (shooting birds for example), or harm someone, you are in deep deep trouble. Same goes for airsoft, shoot at animals, it will be considered as illegal hunting.

Talking about fps over 600.
This one was at 650.
Some parts were custom made, full metal.

It costed over 5000$ to build it. It was quite old too, before all those good upgrade stuff.
It got stolen :/ never to be found.

Your number one concearn will the the mech box, and I do not know how makes a reinforced mech box for the P90 (but if any one finds a supplier, please send me a PM).
You'll probably need some type of wiring (re wire with 16 guage low resistance wire) and battery mod (ie. an external battery) to feed that beast, as it only houses a mini or J-batt mini.
Other than that, you're good to go with torque up (level 3 or simular), and reinforced / upgraded everything else available (spring guide, piston, piston head, cylinder, etc...). The spring is gonna be the problem, as I don't think you can mod a 380% PDI to fit.

Good luck.

We can produce our own airgun springs if necessary, so spring should be okay.
Also will use those sorbo pads and see if they help.
If the gearbox breaks even after sorbo pads, i can check if it would be possible to get one built at a CNC shop. Or at least reinforce an existing one.

Hello again
I'm in a bit of trouble.
Can anyone link me to exact products i should purchase? (other than the wire, mosfter, connector stuff that can be found easily)
It should be at least 550 FPS.
My friend is in a hurry, he is even going to pay for DHL so shipping will be fast.
I just need exact product names, links that i should purchase, and install.
I would do research myself and take my time, but the parts must be ordered in one day.
People say there are no gears for version 6, but version 7 gears work for version 6 if the bushings are reversed.
http://www.airsoftretreat.com/forums...3332.msg651804
But don't know if it's true or not.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Shipped in one day?? Ouch, probably ain't gonna happen.
Anyways, gears for a version 2 or 3 mech box will work in a version 6 box. So any good quality (steel) gear set that is for version 2 will be what you are looking for.

I had no idea that gears for a version 7 box would work in a version 6 (by revesing the two bushings). I would think that would misalign the gears with the piston teeth, or at least place the gear too far back to match with the piston properly.

Actually, I think this requires a bit more thought. I've got a P90 and have put a Prometheus MS190 in it. I did this ages ago and if I recall correctly I'd get a higher fps and J with a longer inner barrel (469mm) than with the standard 247mm length (both cases with matching cylinder). And in a way that does make sense.

What I'm trying to say is that you may have problems reaching 600fps with a P90 by its inherent design. You either have to make it into a PS90 or use a different AEG altogether.
