Beretta PX4 Storm ammo/clip issue...

I've had this for about 2 weeks now and have only had a chance to do 1 fire testing. I was using RWS diablo basics and Eagle Gold who I don't know who they're from but they're my friend's stash. I noticed that with the diablos, they don't sit very well in the slots. They're a little loose but I did get them properly seated but when rotating the mag to finish loading up, they get pushed in a little too far. Same problem with the Eagles though the fit feels much more secure but the end result is the same, the gun jams and the mag is stuck.
I tried switching over to BBs, I used RWS Match Grade Precision Steel .177 since the PX4 was advertised as taking both ammo types. According to the manual, I insert them the same as I would a pellet. Tried that out only to get dry firing, the BB sits too far in and the manual doesn't state doing anything special.
Wondering if anyone has used the PX4 before and have encountered the same problem or know anyway around it? I've now stuck a full mag of RWS Superdome pellets, after rotating they don't seem to get moved out of place but I haven't had any time to test them out. Would be a shame if this thing, as inexpensive as it was, will only take expensive rounds.

You'll probably have better luck finding answers on an airgun forum, I don't think there are that many pellet gun shooters here (the site is for airsoft).

Most pellet guns can also shoot .177 BBs, but it's not the most recommendable thing to do in most guns. The brass jacket on the BBs puts a lot more wear on the barrel rifling and will gradually degrade accuracy. And BBs are inherently less accurate to begin with.
