ICS MP5 A5

Hi so, its not mine but one of my friend want is gun back.
the probleme is when the battery is plug, its look like no power and the fuse is good.. the fire selecter move to much, and when it on safe i can pull the trigger!

So if u think u can help me let me know.. if i cant do it myself, my friend is willing top pay someone to do it.

Thank's in advance

Merci

I heard a lot of mp5 from alot of brands, like the JG ones had that problem, that the trigger still moves or even shoots semi-auto, when on safe! and I also heard that the fire selector won't lock on SEMI so the gun couldn't shoot in Semi-Auto,

Does the gun actually fire when you pull the trigger on safe? If not, then it's not really a problem. Switching to safe and keeping a finger off the trigger until you're ready to shoot is more than enough safety. If it will fire, then I'm not sure what it could be offhand, and IMO, should be repaired.

Worn selector plate
Worn Selector lever
Bent/misplaced copper tabs (under the plate)
Missing/bent/worn *insert name* (The little plastic part at the bottom front of the mechbox. That is the mechanical safety)

A lot can be in cause.

Check these first. I had an issue with an M16. It was the little plastic part that was backwards (it can be installed and the gun works in both directions).

You'll need one of these except for MP5 (or ICS, don't know if it's different because of that, looks different than an armalite one):

That's just because the cylinder and tappet plate are out. It should stay straight with them in there.
