Marui Sig Sauer P226 vs P229
I am in the process of acquiring a P229 and was wondering if this gun takes the same mags and uses the same holsters as the P226?
Here the link to the P229. The P226 is accessible in the left menu. http://www.sigsauer.com/Products/Sho...&productid=178 Anybody knows?

used to be Spencer aka Sue

Mags are different in the KSC's, not sure about the TM's. I believe the grip is smaller as well as the slide so they should be different.

That's a KJW by the way, TM does not make a P229 and both the Sig branded pistols are KJW.
And yes the 229 fits in the 226 Serpa. |

weird...Sig Sauer confirmed that Marui make all their airsoft guns. What makes you say they are KJW?

TM make the 226 pistol, and the 552 rifle. This doesn't mean other companies cannot make SIG weapons.

Also, again like I said, TM does not make the P229. |

Ok. Tells you not to trust the company that sells replicas of their own guns

If you can link us to the info where SIG state that TM make their guns, that would be a start...

Hashed out but never proven, especially in light of the metal content of guns like TM's M14, Type 89, etc. Unless the metal thing only applies to pistols, somehow. Waiting for someone to bablefish the relevant section of Japanese law, anything less is just a myth.

Direct email from their customer service where I asked them what company makes their airsoft guns.

Maybe their AEG's...

That's what I was thinking too, because their AEGs are plastic. TM makes the best 552 replica on the market, so it would make sense that they'd get them to make to make it. Specs on the SIG site list the gun as shooting 265 and using an EG1000 motor. Sounds like that's what it is to me.
TM just doesn't make any metal guns, and that's due to Japanese law. So they can't make the SIG airsoft pistols, since they're all metal. Could you perhaps share the said email with us?
