Anyone ever dealt with Airsplat?
All I want to do is order a vest and a propane adaptor, but apparent this is too hard for them to comprehend. I followed all the instructions about international orders and emailed them my info yet the only response I get is "follow these instructions" (in regards to international orders, which I've already done). It's not an automated email, someone is copy and pasting the same thing to me each time.
I feel like I'm dealing with retards here, or am I the retarded one? Has anyone ever dealt with them before?

Why order a propane adapter from them when you can get the original, Canadian-made, adapter from Airsoft-Innovations right in country? Vests are easy enough to come by, too.
I hate to say it, but you made things unnecessarily difficult for yourself by picking the route you did.

Thats weird, a few months ago when I was looking for airsoft accessories, I inquired about a pistol mag and said they can ship it to me.

They do ship internationally. The first email I sent was to ask is they could ship to Canada, and they do. The only reason I need to buy from them is because they have a vest that I can't seem to find anywhere else, and it's the cheapest I've seen. Who knew a vest with 6 MP5 mag pouches was so hard to find. I tried going to the distributor (TAC Force) but they don't make it in black anymore. I also need a propane adaptor for my newly acquired USP so I just threw that in the order. Believe me when I say I would not make it this difficult on purpose.

Some American posted a thread here on ASC around a year ago talking about being ripped off by Airsplat and having absolutely horrible service.

if your looking for a cheap vest, but reasonable quality (in my opinion) buy from ebaybanned.com, bought from there, always went good, however some people has had a problem of it taking awhile to get shipped here. it may take a week to get sent out but i havent had much of a problem with them.

Very true. An MP5 isn't a great gun for open range combat either but I'm going to use it with a black vest until I get my G3-SG1, which I will get an OD vest for. Shooting for 2 configurations here: MP5 - CQB, G3-SG1 - open range. Makes sense?

im 90% sure, but i think you can use AR mag pouches for your mp5 mags. 2 AR mags will fit, or 3 MP5 mags will fit in each pouch (its a little tight, but if you put 2, then its good) . i used to have a MP5 and i am very sure that is what i did but that was 2-3 years ago just some suggestions, i would double check with someone about the mp5 mags fitting in AR pouch, or go test in a teammate's vest http://ebaybanned.com/product_info.p...roducts_id=930 http://ebaybanned.com/product_info.p...roducts_id=149 http://ebaybanned.com/product_info.p...oducts_id=1567 |

I was looking to buy a scope from Airsplat.com if I don't win this one on eBay. Is it a good idea to buy accessories from them or should I look some where else? Also if anyone could recommend a good site for scopes that are not to expensive that would be appreciated! Thanks guys

Non prohibited accessories are fine to order from anywhere. The real question is, what else do you want? Good customer service but pay a little bit more? Crap customer service but cheap? Fast shipping? Free shipping? Shop around a bit.
Try places like Redwolf, eHobby, WGC, all those other Asian retailers etc. Then locally in Canada like at real steel gunshops (might be a bit expensive from there), Canadian Tire, surplus shops, airsoft shops in Canada, etc. It will be fine to import. Only problems you might have is ordering stuff from the US and the item in question being under ITAR restrictions (US export prohibited).
