WA Kimber mag mod?
I'd really like to pull the plastic 'bumpers' of of a trio of magazines that I've got. I don't know WA as this is my first one, and I DO NOT want to screw up these hard to find mags. They're the Kimber single stack mags. This is a 1911, not a Hi-Kimba.
Here's the idea (or I guess the end goal): I'd like to install real steel Pachmayr 1911 Magazine bumpers to the underside of the magazine. There's two holes on the bumper which seem to correspond with the screws on the botton of the magazine, and clearly I'd have to have a third to allow the magazine to be filled. Anyone know any reason I wouldn't be able to do this before I go ahead and give it a shot?
