V2 firing full auto on safe mode?

Errrmmm...

So I decided to ditch my TM lower and found another lower, but anyways, somehow, when I put the gun to safe, sometimes it fires full auto when just touching the gun, and not the trigger.. Why? :S

I almost shit my pants hearing the thing go full auto on a lipo and scared of the gearbox lol...

Sounds like things are too tight around where the selector plate is. DOes the selector lever move nicely or doe sit feel like it's binding up? And is this after you put the different lower on, or it worked for a while and now does it? Odd problem, I haven't even heard of anything like this before, and I've seen some pretty fucked up shit in AEGs!!

It does move, and I am sure there is space. It's not even stiff. So everytime I fire in Semi and Full, and put it to safe, 3 out of 4 times, it would randomly fire on safe and then I would have to put the switch to semi to stop the firing..

Update!

I was switching from safe to semi about 3-4 times and I saw this orange spark bolt shooting out under the trigger to the metal trigger guard. so what's happening?

My unexperienced opinion is that it sounds like a short.

You realize that is literally an inch or bit more distance, right? Even if you have 50,000 volts running through there, you'd likely not see that. Give a better explanation as to where the spark comes from and where it exactly goes to. You do have a short somewhere, but it's not from the trigger contacts to the trigger guard.

I'm not sure, I was just testing how the fire selector plate was moving, and then, switching safe to semi and back, I see some light orange spark/bolt thing coming from the top front of the trigger shooting to the trigger guard.
What's causing this a short circuit?

Going to get my tylenol ready this time.

Okay I opened it. So the problem was that one red wire was spliced by that little pin that goes through the gearbox and body.. Was that the short circuit?
