What are your methods to protect our teeth?
Hello,
First off I know what some people are going to say "keep your mouth closed" I would've thought of that, but I want to be able to communicate as well. Hand signals would be cool... just I don't know many and I wouldn't know if the guy next to me would understand. But anyway, have any of you fellow airsofters tried any mouth guards or half face masks that really work for you? Or any other methods? Thanks in advance! |

I tried lots of stuff and nothing is as comfortable as a mouth well shut.
a fist or the aeg in front of your face can also protect you. do not chew gum

Keep you mouth closed, breathe through your nose and don't use your radio in the middle of a firefight unless you have cover.

How do I protect my teeth? I pray.
Communicate? Wave my arms around and pray they understand me Serious note though. I usually just hope for the best and wing it. I tried keeping my mouth shut, but running around most of the day defeated that idea.

The best way is try not to get hit a lots and don't do like Rambo guy then you won't yell many hit also don't forget to call your hit, I usually shot the body then if you won't call, next shot is headshot.
By the way, why don't you consider face mask ? KND

a nice low-profile full face mask will do wonders. The V-force grill is very nice, but the mouthpiece has spaces in it where a bb can be shot through. the Save phace company currently makes the lowest profile mask on the market (as per my knowledge) and they come in a variety of patterns, decals etc. i personally got the MC one. just check them out, you wont be disappointed i think.

I know some people who wear mouth guards.
Others wear full PB masks. Some people just keep their shemaghs up tight around their face. Some people opt for the stronger material balaclava style face masks. Some people wear just plain old balanclavas. Myself, I wear nothing, Ive considered wearing a mouth guard, but have never ever actually dont it, and I have been shot in the teeth a few times, with no breaks as of yet, luckily. Aside from the methods I listed, human ingenuity is your best shot at commining up with something to protect your chompers.

Neoprene face mask, but you'll sweat alot.
I DIY mine from a Sensei lower face mask coupled with a Bolle goggles. I follow the instructions from here: DIY Sensei X800 Goggles - Filipino Airsoft (FAS) It's written in Tagalog (Philippine's language), and since I don't speak Tagalog as well, I believe the picture is self explanatory... |
