G36 FPS/air nozzle sealing

I am upgrading a couple of different G36 models. Once is a TSD and one is a KWA.
They have 2 different styles of hop ups. The KWA has the "cup stule" hop up and is made of plastic. The TSD has a metal closed style hop up..
The internals of the KWA are upgraded to shoot about 480 (Dm rifle) and the TSD should be shooting about 420. Unfortunately upon reassembly both guns are only shooting in the 300 ish. I have tried several different hop up buckings and the hop-up unit is freely pressured against the gearbox (the hop up unit spring action moves freely).

There are no feed issues and the air nozzle seems to be engaging the hop up properly.

I am out of ideas. Any mods or ideas?

Thanks

Have you tried opening the gearbox and checking the airseal of the piston/piston head, cylinder + cylinder head?

John, Maybe it's the air seal on the actual nozzle between the nozzle and the piston head or some other airleaks. Has happened on many G36s I've opened.

Check to see if the spring is backwards. I know it's probably not, but you should check while you are in there. I've heard stories of people looking for air seals problems for hours, only to find that they put the spring in backwards.

OK...will do...but I am using linear springs so I don't think there is a front and back.
The only thing left to try is changin out the air nozzle itself.
Drat! Cursus!

Just wondering if you got that fixed yet, and if you did I could really use the info, and where did you buy the linear springs (i have a grudge against non-linear for some applications)

well....I was able ot fix it by putting in an SRC aluminum air nozzle (which is a tad longer then the Classic army and others)
as for the spring....I can't remember where I got it as it was in my parts box with masking tape on it marking the spring rate...
