GR25 still broken !

Hi guys,
My G&G GR25 hasn't been used so much and isn't upgraded ( except scope etc.. )
A while ago it would'nt fire and my trigger jammed ...
I couldn't find the problem, when i put the gearbox back in it was fixed, after a while the same the trigger would'n go al the way back.
I removed the gearbox anput it back in and I pulled the trigger and suddenly the only sound i heared was elektric motor spinning, I opend the gearbox and there was a tooth missing from the middle gear ...
Now I've installed a guarder steel gear set ( since the original broke sow easily).
I installed everything and no response from the gun...
I removed the motor and it smelled a bit burned, luckily my dad was able to service the motor and now its back with full power ...
But If I install the motor, I can't here anything move, or just a faint "tick".
What could it be? I haven't fired my gun so much ...
by the way, the gearbox was really bonedry from the factory ( is grease that exspensive? :-? )

If all the gears, piston, motor are all working, then it most likely be over shimmed, your new gears most likely have different dimensions than the stock gears, overshimming causes both sides of the gearbox shell to press against the gears when you close it back up, locking it in place by friction.

Try taking your mechbox back out, take the piston , anti-reversal latch and spring out, screw the mechbox back together and turn the gears from the bottom of where the motor should go. If it doesn't turn, loosen the mechbox screws, if it turns then, then you know it's over shimmed.

also don't forget to regrease ur gears and time them properly. use www.mechbox.com it saved me 100$ just my opening it up to find that the piston head and hopup wern't properly alligned.

Hi guys,
the battery is only 8 months old , I have an excellent charger, its an 3600mAh niMh from WGC shop .
I've well lubed all the gears and I tested if the shimming was good :
I removed the piston and spring and closed the gearbox and I could turn the gears with my finger... I live in belgium and there arent allot of places to bring my gun and they are very exspensive, like 70 usd per hour...

The trigger block may be broken. There should be a little piece of metal sticking up out of the gearbox shell just behind the (to left of the) switch assembly. Also, check the actual contacts of your switch assembly. I fixed a gun that wasn't functioning once simply because the contacts on the switch assembly were burned and scored from arcing.

Connect everything, then connect the black and red wires to your motor without your motor in the grip, pull the trigger, and if the motor spins, then you are fine.

But if you hear a click click, don't keep pulling the trigger, your motor adjustment may be in too much. If the click click problem stil continues, try a new battery.

hi you guys, I just got my gun working again !
and it seems that the plugs on the motor kept coming loose too when I closed it, fixed that with some pliers, I have another question tough.
Before my weapon broke down I had had my trigger to jam, that I couldn't pull it back but not like the safety because if I put the safety on I could feel the diference, I solved this by just dissasembeling the gun and putting it back in ... but never knew the problem...
What could cause this? I heared something about removing the semi latch... not sure what they mean by this.
Anyways Thx alot you guys
but still I would want tto prevent the trigger jam ...

Could be a few different things. Switch assembly post could be broken (see my above post), or there could be an issue with your semi latch. However if you removed the semi latch, then you wouldn't have semi anymore. You would have safe, and full auto. I also have a GR25, and I would much rather have semi than full auto.

with the trigger master u still need semi mode to time the firing rev timing for the chip - made the same mistake myself and the thing only fires in full sometimes that way - if u have the semi latch then it sets the chip up right
