G&G GR16 R4 Commando not shooting straight
I just got a brand new G&G GR16 R4 Commando and, out of the box, its is shooting horibbly crooked on the x-axis. At about 25 feet it is consistently off to the left about 6-7 inches (thats with the sight adjusted to compensate). It shoots straight, but I have to aim to the right, any tips on fixing this?

are the bbs curving? Fire a auto burst with white bbs(easier to see) and see if it curves left/right if so your inner barrel is twisted, you'll have to disassemble the upper/lower receiver and twist it into proper alignment. If the bbs are going straight but just in the wrong direction the it's a sight problem of some sort, maybe you zerod your sights wrong, maybe your front or rear sight is bent.

After a little more shooting it is evident that they are curving slightly, so I guess I will take it apart and twist the barrel.
Thanks for the tips. Last edited by raDik; April 21st, 2009 at 22:03.. |
