Jing & Gong G3 Gearbox Problems
So I got my Jing & Gong G3 Gearbox today, Here
I installed it into my gun, and I go to shoot and nothing happens. I heard a click so I dis-assembled the gun, took the gearbox out and checked it and tried again. Still nothing. I noticed that the piston was all the way back and not fired. So I came on hear and read tips and figured it was a gear miss-alignment. I watched videos and read up on the gearbox, after doing so I opened the gearbox. I went trough it and re-built it and tried again. It did the same things. I made sure I had everything perfect and it still wouldn't fire. There is a possibility it is my battery so I'm charging it then trying. If anyone has ever had a similar problem or any tips please help me. Thanks.

When you put it back together, did you put the piston back to the front?

Yup, I'm 99% sure I put it back together correctly.

Most likely a weak battery. Get that thing charged to 100% and try it again.

That's what I'm guessing. It makes the sound of a dead battery. I just wanted to make sure. Anyways, the battery is charging now. I'll get back to you guys in the morning.

Battery check the shimming, Chinese manufacturers are notorious for doing a poor job at that, sounds like it may be too tight. To test take the cylinder, cylinder head, piston, tappet and anti reverse latch out. Close the mechbox (screw it together with a few screws) and see if the gears will spin relatively freely. |

I also suggest either a weak battery or very poor shim job. What kind of battery are you using?

well ive seen it done before, trust me, one of my friends who is even more special ed than me managed to do it, but unfortunately for us all, no, for the life of me i could NOT figure out how the fuck he managed to do it, but long story short he ended up stripping his piston. you sure theres no chips on the gears that could have gotten jammed in the works? also, my sig jammed last week because the o ring in the piston head broke and got pinched in the cylinder, may want to check that too, unlikely but possible
all the usual stuffs been covered by these guys, so check that stuff first, cause shims does seem most likely in this case The spring is a lie!! I think my friend actually thought that the piston was SUPPOSED to be back, so he tried to actually keep it back while he put it together, but like i said, no clue how he kept it from flying out, and sorry if i dont list all of the obvious stuff like shims and bushings, but i just assume that somebody else is going to blurt it out sooner rather than later anyways
