FET unit overheating
hey guys - basically i have my P90 firing at 430-450ish with a BPS of 30+
triggermaster MK3 and 11.1 Lipo - recently switched to a G+P turbo 3000 and now the damned thing is overheating quite rapidly - never had this problem on my EG1000 marui motor lol anyone suggest any fixes or am i just gonna have to stick with it? any way to increase the tolerance on the FET? |

Not much you can do to stop that FET from overheating in that situation.. Does it stop overheating when you swap back to the original motor?

yep - go figure - the EG1000 seems to have a better abillity to deal with an sp120 spring than the G+P m120 turbo 3000 i guess :S

Have you tried a Guarder Infinite Torque Up motor? I've heard great things about them, and they're half the price of Magnums.

I'd HIGHLY recommend a proper G&P M160 "Turbocharger". I have one in a LiPo-run 500 FPS M16 build and it's awesome.

would upgrading to a higher torque motor reduce heat then? I didn't think that would make much of a difference?
