Looking to upgrade my Marui MAC-10
Hi,
I was just doing some research on Marui's Micro Gearbox and didn't find any conclusive answers. Nine Ball offers tune up kits that include cylinder, piston, piston head, bushings and spring guide. I was more perplexed about inner barrels though. PDI offers a 6.01mm ID barrel and Nine Ball offers the 6.03mm ID barrel. Has anyone had experience with the MP7 barrels from either manufacturer? They are comparable in price and would just like to know which would be better. As well, would the Deepfire power spring be recommended over the Nine Ball? Any other helpful suggestions are welcome! Thanks, -ScoTT. Last edited by smurata1; May 7th, 2009 at 03:08.. |

for the barrel it's up to you... installed the 6.03 one in a friend's mp7 and it's great! and i would not recommend a upgrade spring on the micro gearbox... you will shorthen it's life very well! (shell snapping) just my thoughts!

yes it was the 9ball 6.03 inner barrel, well since it's a marui the shell "should" be more resistant than the clones ones, but again, why marui is so durable... because it fires at a relatively low fps... (yes better qc and materials too but still...) and i cant really say much to you on the springs sorry... all i can say is that USUALLY the stuff that comes from 9ball is of better quality than deepfire.
